This paper critically explores the role of colonial discourse studies in exploring cultural imperialism. It discusses relevance this academic field to our current understanding ideological dimensions colonialism, imperialism, and globalization. Moreover, it outlines how related conceptualizations such as Orientalism, Said’s Orient Occident, hegemony, postcolonial theories are intrinsically linked these studies. The significance study lies illustrating, through reference contemporary scholarship field, discourse’s past, present, future implications remain enduring importance social political realities.
